Mischa Anne Marsden Barton was born on the 24th of January, 1986 in Middlesborough, England. Her father is an English stockbroker and her mother an Irish photographer. Mischa has two sisters, Hania and Zoe.

Mischa Barton made her film debut in Lawn Dogs, and has since acted in films such as Notting Hill (Collector's Edition), The Sixth Sense, and Lost and Delirious.

From 2003 to 2006, Mischa Barton starred in the Fox television show, The O.C. [Season 1 | Season 2 | Season 3 | Season 4].
